Shamkhani: Quds Day truly sympathizes with world Muslims
Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani said on Friday that the International Quds Day truly sympathizes with world Muslims and other issues such as Riyadh summit or Qatar’s siege have no room in resolving the issue.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the International Quds Day rally, Shamkhani said after triumph of the Islamic Revolution in Iran many events occurred in the country to turn the issue of Quds Day and Palestine to a secondary subject but to no avail.
The strongest message which could be given to those masterminding plots against the Islamic Republic of Iran is that “re-testing of a qualified person goes wrong”.
Iran’s security is our redline and any group or country mind to harm it will be given a tough and unpredictable response, he said.
The International Quds Day was marked in Iran and other countries on Friday.
The day of anti-Zionist expression was first declared by late Imam Khomeini, the leader of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, who established the annual event in order to draw international attention to the Palestinian cause.
The Iranian demonstrators chanted anti-Israeli and anti-US slogans during the rallies.

Terrorists display unity with Zionism on Quds Day
Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi condemned Friday terrorist attack in Parachinar, Pakistan, saying that terrorists displayed their alliance with the Zionist regime through acts of terror on the Quds Day.
ahrami also sympathized with families of victims and the Pakistani nation and government over the deadly attack which killed at least 25 people and injured 100 more in a bomb blast at a vegetable market in Parachinar, in the Kurram Valley of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan on Friday.
The terrorist attack was carried out concurrent with the International Quds Day.
'On a day when Muslims worldwide shouted their support to the cause of Palestine as well as their opposition to the Zionist regime beautifully in form of unified demonstrations, terrorists massacred the fasting people of Pakistan in line with the interests of the Zionist regime, showing the connection between terrorism and Zionism,' said the spokesman.
The area has previously been targeted by several blasts in 2008, February 2012, September 2012, 2013 and in December 2015.
The International Quds Day is marked by world Muslims and non-Muslims annually to demonstrate their support for the cause of Palestine and their hatred towards the Zionist occupiers.
The day was first named in 1979 by late Imam Khomeini, the leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, who designated the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as a day to bring international attention to the Palestinian cause and denounce crimes committed by the Zionist regime in the occupied lands.
